Enphase Envoy-S Metered Gateway (single & multi phase)

<p>The Envoy-S, Metered (single-phase and three-phase) is a communication gateway. This system sends data in both directions between the photovoltaic installation and Enphase. On the one hand, it sends information from the photovoltaic system to Enphase so that it can be viewed using, for example, Enphase Enlighten. On the other hand, it automatically sends system and software updates back to the microinverters. Enphase Enlighten allows system owners and installers to easily view important information. The Envoy-S must be connected to the Internet to report information. There are several options for doing this: built-in Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Enphase Mobile Connect (not included) or power line communication.<br><br></p> <p> <strong>Enphase Enlighten</strong> </p> <p><br> Enphase Enlighten displays all relevant and important data at a glance, with the option to explore specific information in greater depth. Power output, consumption and, where applicable, storage if batteries are connected. Professionals make Enlighten Manager available to them. Installers have an overview of the individual systems they are responsible for. This allows all parties involved to view important information at any time and, if necessary, act accordingly.<br><br></p> <p> <strong>Connection options</strong> <br><br>An Internet connection is required for the Envoy-S, Metered (single-phase and multi-phase) to exchange data. Firstly, to receive system updates, and secondly, to report data to Enlighten. This is possible via the built-in Wifi, on both 2,4Ghz and 5Ghz. This requires a router with wireless capabilities. Another option is Ethernet, which requires a router. No Ethernet cable is supplied. A third option is Enphase Mobile Connect. This system can be ordered separately, and we offer two versions. One includes a 5-year data plan, while the other excludes the data plan. The final option is to use power line communication, for example if there is no way to install the Envoy-S near a router.
